MICHELE MUTTERLE CURRICULUM VITAE

 Born at 4^th of July 1963 in Contarina (now called Porto Viro), in the province of Rovigo, north – east Italy

During the 1969 the  family moved to Vicenza (a beautiful town 50 kms from Venice)

6^th December 1997 get married with Daniela.  

23^rd February 2001 my son Elia is arrived!

EDUCATION:

1969 – 1977 Compulsory education in primary and secondary school.

1977 – 1980 High school as electrician, quitted in third class.

October 1991 first level of German Language class.

August 1993 intensive class one month long of German language in Münster, Westfalen, Germany.

1994, and from 1997 to 2000 taking German classes in Vicenza at Goethe Institut and Centro Culturale Italo tedesco.

WORKING EXPERIENCES:

October 1980 beginning a job as apprentice goldsmith in a small factory.

May 1983 – May 1984  military service as “Bersagliere” in Liguria, Rome, Caserta, Pordenone.

October 1987 engagement in a small gold factories as specialized clasp – maker workman.

July 1988 engagement in the bigger factory Gi.Ro.Vi. as specialized clasp – maker workman.

April - September 1999 hired from the American bicycle tour operator Ciclismo Classico. Leading seven tours in Tuscany.

October 1999 back to the factory, waiting for the next bicycle season.

May - October 2000 hired from Ciclismo Classico to scouting and lead seven more tours in Süd Tyrol, Puglia and Tuscany.  

October 2000 back to Girovi where I still work.

Since February 2001 collaborate with the Italian Federation of the Bicyclists' Friends FIAB and I was elected in their National Committee.

NOT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES:

1984 – 1985 dee jay in a local radio.

1987 involving in the local bicyclist club “Pedale Verde”.

January 1988 joining  the world wide hospitality club “Servas”. Since than until January 2000 I gave hospitality to more than 60 people in my apartment and I was a guest in more than 60 families around the world. 

1989 became president of the bicyclist club

1992 Pedale Verde closed.

1992 forming together with 8 other clubs or persons the Bicyclists' Friends coordination of North – East Italy

1993 with other 40 people forming of a new bicyclist club called Tuttinbici Vicenza  and become the president of it.

January 1998 reassignment from the presidency of Tuttinbici, at that moment with more than 200 members.

From 1998 to 2002 coordinator for the Italian Federation Bicyclists' Clubs FIAB of the service “Ospitabici”, hospitality homes for touring bicyclists.  

Since March 2000 webmaster of the official site of Tuttinbici Vicenza

Since February 2001 collaborate with the Italian Federation of the Bicyclists' Friends FIAB and I was elected in their National Committee. 

Since 2002 webmaster of Centro Culturale Italo - Tedesco language school.

POLITICS:

1991 candidate to the town council for the Green Party.

December 1998 candidate to the town council for the Green Party. 

JOURNEYS:

August 1988 first journey in United States, by myself traveling with Amtrack and Greyhound, guest of Servas families and borrowing bicycles from them doing shorts ride in Maryland, Michigan, Vermont, Colorado, Washington St.

August 1989 bicycle tour in Denmark riding 1600 kms with three other friends.

August 1990 second journey in US, cycling 1000 miles (1670 kms) by myself from Vermont to Michigan.

August 1991 cycle journey through Austria and Hungary, for 2100 kms (1300 miles) by myself.

August 1992 cycle journey through Bavaria and Bohemia, 1700 kms by myself.

August 1994 cycle journey in Ireland by myself.

August 1995 cycle journey in Belgium by myself

August 1996 cycle journey in Switzerland with Daniela.

August 1997 cycle journey in Borgougne, France with Daniela.

December 1997– January  1998 honeymoon in New Zealand, driving a camper van for more than 5000 kms.
