THE MANUSCRIPT OF IVREA J.IV.71

The manuscipt, a volume of parchment, is constitued by 151 sheets plus one sheet as a flyleat which contains a complete circle of epistles for Sundays and week-days from the first Sunday of the Advent. The first traces of J.IV.71 in the Capitular Library go back to the beginning of the XV century. It remains the only evidence of the musical situation in the region during the last decades of the XIII century.
