Trade & Order Info

First of all, thanks for visiting my site.  For each info not present in this page, just e-mail me.  All the records in this site come from my personal collection and, unless stated otherwise, all are original of the country where they were manufactured (though I may not always be able to tell if an album is a first or slightly later pressing, if there is no evident difference in cover, label etc.).  I usually have no NEW items;  I have some sealed ones only because sometimes I make large bulk purchases in order to get some titles I need for cheap.

IMPORTANT POLICY CHANGE

For I'm not a full-time dealer and I run this site after my job and my extra-job, I don't have much time to dedicate to it.  Most of you ask for single records or small quantities, and it's not possible for me to deal with this anymore: I can't go to the post office every time I have to send a single record.  So, from now on, I request a minimum trade/sale amount of €50.  No exceptions.  Moreover, because of customs restrictions, I won't do trades outside European Union anymore.  Non-E.U. friends may only pay cash.  I'm sorry, but I can't do otherwise.

HOW TO TRADE

In general, I'm interested in hard rock, psych, prog LPs from mid-60s to early 70s (please take a look at my want list).  I don't necessarily need originals, especially on the most expensive ones.  Here's how it works:

1)    Send me an e-mail and tell me which records you'd like to get from me.  Except for particular reasons, I guarantee an e-mail answer within 3 days.  If you don't see anything coming up within 3 days, assume that one of the two e-mails has been lost so please send me another.  If you have your records listed in a website, please include your URL in your e-mail, so I can take a look at what you have and you won't have to send me any list.  Please don't attach any file to your first e-mail.

2)    Only after I answered you, if you don't have a website send me a second e-mail and attach your sale/trade list.  I can only accept .doc/.rtf files for Microsoft Word or .xls files for Microsoft Excel or plain text files.  I can't accept any other file types.  Please zip your files if their size exceeds 500 Kb or so.  I require your lists contain at least, for each record: country of manufacture, label, label color (where necessary), record/cover grading, price.

3)    After I have read your list, I'll contact you again and tell you if I found something interesting for me and I'll make you a trade proposal.

4)    If we reach an agreement (I hope so!), who asked first for a trade will send first.  So if you contacted me first, you'll have to send me your records in advance.  Each one will pay his postal charges.

5)    After receiving your records, I'll quickly verify if they are in the stated conditions, then I'll send you mine.

6)    I reserve the right to send you back each record which doesn't correspond to your description (I won't be too strict, but I won't accept a VG record if you told me it was M-).  Anyway, in this regrettable case, I will contact you before for an adjustement.

7)    Note: if I know you well and I have already traded records with you, the restrictions above (1÷6) are unnecessary and we may send the records at the same time.

HOW TO BUY

Contact me by e-mail.  I usually guarantee an answer within 3 days, even if the records were not available anymore.  To have an idea of postage rates from Italy, click here (these are only approximate rates and subject to changes by Italian post; when billing I'll tell you the exact cost).

My answer will include the titles available and the total amount of your expense, including postage.  Again, I guarantee an answer within 3 days so if nothing shows up within 3 days assume that one of the two e-mails has been lost and please send yours again.

And here's how it works:

1)    After I have confirmed your order, send me the money.  Preferred method of payment is International Money Order.  Cash in registered letter are accepted, but at your risk: these may be stolen.  Payments by I.M.O. must be made in Euro (€).  If you pay cash, the following currencies are accepted: US dollars, UK pounds, Swiss francs, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian krøner - but I have to add the equivalent of €5 for bank charges.  Being a private collector and not a dealer, I can't accept other payment methods like credit cards or else.

2)    I will hold the records for you for 4 weeks (Europe), 6 weeks (outside Europe).  If I don't receive the money within these terms, your reservation expires and the records will be put again in the lists and available for other customers.  No exceptions.  People who reserve records and don't pay for them will be permanently deleted from my mailing list and I'll nevermore accept any order from them.  Sorry, but offering mostly one-of-a-kind items, I have to keep a strict policy on this.

3)    As soon as I receive the money, I'll send you the records.

4)    Note - If you live outside E.U., you'll probably have to endure some custom charges.

RETURNS

All the records are guaranteed to be in the stated conditions.  Anyway, mistakes may occur so if you are unsatisfied with a record please let me know: we'll surely find an agreement.  Be sure that my policy is not to overgrade items: I wish to treat you exactly as I expect to be treated when I buy records for me.

In the unlikely case you aren't satisfied about a record (see the grading page for details) and we can't find an agreement, so you wish to send me back the record, here's how it works:

1)    Send me back the record (at your expense).

2)    Once I received it and verified that it's the same one I sent you, I'll send you back your money (sorry, postage can't be refunded).

3)    After I paid you, I will play the record and verify the problem you told me of.

4)    In case the problem doesn't exist and the record plays through exactly as graded, I will ban you "forever and ever" from my mailing list... there are too many people who burn their CDs and send back records under false pretenses!
