A wild
road a little known, where it was recently spotted a bear,
probably from the nearby national park of Brenta, a climb
hard but shady and regular, a test for the more trained,
a refuge beneath the jagged crests of the Corno di Pichea,
a panoramic balcony in the Ledro Alps. This and much more
is the itinerary which I'm to tell.
We start from Pieve di Ledro, quiet
town on the shores of lake, right away on cycle in the direction
of Locca and Concei valley. We
cross Locca, Enguiso and Lenzumo, three villages almost
attached to, and we are 788 meters of height when we turn
right at the sign indicating the refuge Nino Pernici.
The dances are opened, now it begins
immediately a constant climb that will never cease-fire
and that in 9 km it will bring us up to 1581 metres of Bocchetta
di Trat.
The road is asphalt to about 1400
where begins the large meadow where Malga Trat is situated.
Now we go on a dirt road, we perform
a hairpin and reach a crossroads, take left the road that
passes next to Malga, come down for a hundred meters behind
the mountain, and we face the last km steep until step.
In front of us we can see the Mazza
and Corni di Pichea and hundred meters on the right, anchored
on the mountain and crossed the Sentiero della Pace, in
a beautiful view of itself, the riugio Nino Pernici at 1600.
The weather is cloudy, we eat something,
take some photos and descend from the same part from which
we have come to beeing able to take little of sun on the
lake's beach. |
