1 - Descent from mount Ebro via mount Giarolo

Trail description
From the peak (1700 slms) we go down along the ridge in direction northwest.
We reach a pass and we rise to the meadow peak of Cosfrone mountain (km 1).
The itinerary doesn't introduce any problem of orientation developing itself entirely on the ridge or in its near.
With some up-and-down tract we reach a non cycle tract whose term we reach a ski-track. We rise and we reach the station of the chair-lift of Caldirola (km 4.3).
We continue in light slope then in descent to a pass where begins the final slope.
In peak of the Giarolo some spar and a statue. We go toward north to reach the statue and we take the wide dirt steep road that it goes down up to the provincial one.
Gradient:   in descent 1100 ms, in slope 150 ms.
On saddle:  100%,except 200 meters.

2 - Ascent to mount Ebro from  Capanne of Cosola

Description.
From the houses we take a narrow road that climbs to the left (for the one that it comes from val Borbera).
Not very late the road becames path enough rough that it continues to half coast (tracts by foot).
We reach the pass (Bocca of Crenna), at the base of the top, where we meet a dirt road that it goes down to north (itinerary 3).
We climb the steep slope laboriously and reach the peak constituted by a ridge.
Gradient:
200 ms.
On saddle: 90%

3 - Ascent to mount Ebro from  Salogni

Trail description
get over the country of Salogni we meet to the right an asphalt road, in slope (km 0.8). We take it faithfully following it.
We rise with steep windings to a cowshed, steeply continues then to reach the Pass situated among the mount Ebro and the mount Chiappo (Bocca of Crenna, km 6.3).
We rise to the right laboriously the steep slant up to the peak constituted by a ridge (km 8).
Gradient: 700 ms.
On saddle: 99%
Observations: almost entirely asphalted now! Attention to the cars.

4 - Descent from mount Ebro to Cabella Ligure

Description.
From the peak (1700 slms) we go down along the ridge in direction northwest.
We reach a pass and we rise to the meadow peak of the mount Cosfrone (km 1).
The itinerary 1 continue straight on; we turn to the left and we go down on the maximum inclination following a trace in the lawn.
We arrive to a breadth pass (pass of Fountain Gura; km 1,6).
We neglect to the left the road and we go straight on taking the road that the southern slant of the mount Roncasso crosses.
After a light slope the road starts the descent, steep and rough and it conducts to the Passo Trappola (km 3,6). We go to the left here.
The road continues to go down and it arrives to an intersection (km 4,7) where we go straight on.
Still 500 meters and we reach Pobbio Superiore where we find the asphalt road.
We continue the descent reaching the center of Cabella Ligure (km 14).
Gradient:   in descent 1250 ms.
On saddle:  100 %.
Observations:   in slope there are no cycling tracts (cycle 75%).

5 - Ascent from Cantalupo to mount Giarolo

Description.
From Cantalupo Ligure we follow the provincial road, we get over Albera Ligure and we reach the point where to the left rise a road (km 3,4) with indications for Volpara.
We rise on the asphalt road, we reach the houses of Figino (km 7,1) where we go straight on crossing the country.
We continue up to reach the houses of Volpara (km 11,8).
At the entry of the country there is a chapel. The road that coasts along the chapel we take, in plain.
We continue on the narrow asphalt road, going to the left at the forks. We arrive so to the last house where the asphalt road ends (km 13,1).
In the tract that follows we meet some fork where we go to the left always and we arrive to an intersection near a trough (km 14,9).
At this important intersection we go to the left. The road assumes a level course and allows to rest ourselves.
It begins a very steep and fatiguing tract that brings to a cowshed (km 16,6). We continue with a little bit small inclination, then we get over a short but hard tract and we arrive at the end of the slope (km 17).
The road continues to the left, we leave it following to the right the traces of the cars.
Overcame 100 non cycle meters we arrive on the ridge (km 17,1) where it passes the itinerary 1 .
We go to the left following the evident traces of cars and we reach the spar. We go to the right for reaching the great statue on peak (km 18,1).
Gradient:   1100 ms.
On saddle:  99 %.

6 - Come down from mount Giarolo to Cantalupo

Description.
From the statue on the peak we go toward west. We find some descriptive poster situated near a spar and we go down in direction Rocchetta.
The road goes down on the ridge following the maximum inclination.
We arrive to two following and close forks where we go to the left (km 1,6; trail sign 3 and trail sign red/white).
The steep descent continues with the same characteristics. We neglect some narrow roads and we arrive to an asphalt road (km 4,3).
Going down on this road is possible to finish the run.
We turn to the right and we immediately meet an intersection. Here we go straight on to a winding.
We leave the road going to the left (km 4,6; trail sign and poster). We cross the oak wood with almost level course, then the road starts to go down with steep tracts. At the intersections we follow the trail signs red/white, but these roads bring all to the bottom of the valley however.
We arrive to a road with concrete bed that quickly it conducts to the provincial road in correspondence of the houses of S.Nazaro (km 7,4).
Cantalupo is to the right, to a kilometer.
Gradient:   1100 ms.
On saddle:  100 %.
Observations: Itinerary too steep to be used in slope.

7 - Ascent from Cegni to Capanne di Cosola

Description.
From the Church of Cegni we continue on the provincial road in direction of the Lombardy. After hundred meters we turn to the left entering the road that brings to the cemetery.
We coast along the wall on a rural road. The road becomes forest road and it goes down for meeting in a wider road (km 1,2). This road originates from the provincial one; it begins 1,1 kms after the deviation for the cemetery.
We turn to the left in the first of the two parallel roads and we rise to a church (km 1,5). We continue in slope in the road that it begins at the end of the square.
We face a long slope, with inclination almost constant and good ground. The road is always maintained wide in the middle of the forest.
We reach an ample intersection where we find the trail sign 2 (km 5,6); we turn to the left here. The inclination decreases, we go out of the wood (small construction in wood) and we climb to come near the peak of the Bogleglio mountain (km 7,2).
We go down to cross a road, to the right, that neglect going straight on; a light slope and then a descent and we arrive to the Colle della Seppa (km 10,3).
To the right the road goes down for Bruggi, to the left that for the S.P. 90. We now continue straight on in the more narrow road. We quickly reach the steep slope that brings us in peak to the mountain Garavč and then we go down to the Passo della Mula (km 11,4).
Another slope to get over the Rotondo mountain then descent and we continue in a up-and-down tract to reach on a road the base of the Chiappo mountain (km 13,8).
Wanting to avoid the non cycle slope to the Chiappo mountain you would be able to go down to the left. Continuing straight on we face the steep slope, almost all not cycle, that finishes to the shelter where they arrive skilifts. The peak is to the right 50 meters (statue; km 14,5).
Crossed the peak we find a trace in the grass that becomes road. We meet the fork for Bocca of Crenna and here we go to left. We get over a short slope and then the steep descent that it finishes on a road, we turn to the left and we go out on the provincial road in correspondence of the pass (km 16).
Gradient:  1100 ms.
On saddle:  95%.
Observations: no cycle tract it is almost all in the slope of the Chiappo. This itinerary it belongs of that ideal high road that connects the lowland with the sea (prosecution for Capanne Carrega, then for mountain Antola-Torriglia-Lavagnola-Scoffera)

8 - Ascent mount Boglieglio from Fabbrica Curone

Description .
From Fabbrica we continue on the provincial road. After 1,2 kilometers from the church we turn to the left taking the road in slope for Forotondo.
We continue until we reach the square of the country (km 7).
We follow the only road that rises and leads to a fork where we turn to the left reaching Cŕ Marchese (km 7,8).
Shortly after the road becomes a dirt one maintaining itself wide and comfortable.
We rise with numerous windings and non excessive inclination. We reach a great cowshed over which the road worsens a lot.
We still get over some windings and we cross the great road on ridge (km 14,5) where it passes the itinerary 7.
We turn to the left. With two light slopes we go out near the few evident peak of the Boglieglio (a little to the right, covered by the wood; km 15)
Gradient : 1050 ms.

9 - Descent from mount Boglieglio to Castellaro

Description.
From the peak we go down toward north following the wide dirt road. We reach a small shelter (km 1,4). After some hundred meters we leave to the right the road that rises from Cegni crossed by the itinerary 7.
We go straight to descent watching out because we have to turn to the left when we cross a few visible path on which they go the trail signs (km 2).
We enter the depth of the wood. The run alternates easy tracts to others very steep. We follow with attention the run more evident and we reach a narrow road that after 100 meters it meets in a rough road (km 2,6).
We follow to the left this road neglecting trail sign and smaller roads.
With run primarily in descent we directly reach Castellaro (km 6,5).
Gradient : 775 ms.
On saddle: 94%
Observations: not too much advisable because of the difficulties of orientation in the wood. You hold present that the whole slope is crossed by the road that joins Val Curone with Valley Staffora and therefore whatever descent leads on this road.
In slope it would force to a fatiguing slope by foot.
