mother Earth

I’ve travelled all over the Earth. I’ve gone through kingdoms and cities, countries and villages. I’ve rummaged into the king’s castles and in the farmer’s houses, into the inns and the grand hotels, I've looked among the most precious clothes and finest scents of East. I’ve gone to see the monarchs and the richest and most powerful men of the planet…

But I haven’t been satisfied   randy alexander design/cygnuss foto

I didn’t find a bed as soft as the fine ocean sand. I didn’t find a velvet more caressing than the new born moss. I never met such a palace able to compare the starry vault of sky. So much I walked on the Earth but I didn’t find a carpet more comfortable then the green grass of the meadow, not a perfume stronger than some flowers. I never felt such a deep peace as a springtime evening.

So much I searched among the intellectuals, in the libraries and the museums, in the churches and the academies, but I didn’t find a book more interesting than the life, not a work more expressive of what I see every day before me and I haven’t found a best answer than the Earth that offers me every time the bread and a home, and a beautiful picture of shapes and colours and true music to fall asleep.
