how much peace in nature

what a calm silence

what a placid stillness

but westerly man doesn’t know it

he doesn’t know how to prey

outside churches

dear Earth

tender planet

he doesn’t have a heart

enough big to contain you

westerly man

he makes too much noise

while he should be quiet

on tiptoe

he never has enough

and drinks poison

he has not time

westerly man

he never stops

he invented a world

without space

and my heart cries

joy and pain with no end

the life’s glare

laughs in my eyes

for whatever you accomplish

Earth

and your giants

have been covered in lightdrops

from man

to ape the stars

as a parasite

he settled in your thick hair

and you didn’t say a word

but he hasn’t stolen your peace yet

because he doesn’t know where it is

and when you speak

he doesn’t listen to you

too loud are the bruits

he makes up

here down town

even at night he complains

and hears only his own voice

he believes to be the only one speaking

and… he feels alone

he became so small

that he went off far and far…

Earth
