Maintenance of equipment is usually one of the weakest aspects
of dental laboratory services in developing countries. For this reason the School
for Dental Technicians developed a maintenance plan for the entire laboratory
that include an inventory of equipment and spare parts.
Electric plant
For maintaining and preserving the device characteristics and
for avoiding serious damages re frequent blackout and different voltage supply
-with notable tension fluctuations- the electric plant is provide of:
able stabilizers in way to mitigate tension fluctuations
protection relay that excludes laboratory in case of blackout
electric separate circuit for casting room

Hydraulic plant
Water is one of the lead problems in Africa; without this jewel
element each human activity has destined to stop but also its quality is important
to assistance goals. That is why tricks like the following are used:
an external reservoir that allows:
deposit of the suspended particles -water is withdrawn directly
from the Volta River

possible treatment of deposited water
