1841 |
at own home, Willaim 45, carpenter, wife Sarah 50, children Joseph I 15, Henry I 14, Harriott
Hodges 3, no relationship shown ● Richard II was not at home: a Richard Wigley age
17 (so born about 1824) was at the address of a Henry Wigley (born variously
1798-1801, Leebbotwood or Woolstaston,
Shropshire, which are only a couple of km apart) in Church Stretton, Shropshire, no relationship shown – available
records show that the only Richard born about 1824 was William and Mary’s
son, so that this Henry might have been some kind of relative. Unfortunately
no baptism can be found for him, so it is not possible to find who his parents
were, although trees on Ancestry (not always reliable) point to his father
being a John Wigley ● Sarah VI dead, James I not
