● Richard II was not at home: a Richard Wigley age 17 (so born about 1824) was at the address of a Henry Wigley (born variously 1798-1801, Leebbotwood or Woolstaston, Shropshire, which are only a couple of km apart) in Church Stretton, Shropshire, no relationship shown – available records show that the only Richard born about 1824 was William and Mary’s son, so that this Henry might have been some kind of relative. Unfortunately no baptism can be found for him, so it is not possible to find who his parents were, although trees on Ancestry (not always reliable) point to his father being a John Wigley
