Workplace mediation

Conflicts in workplaces pose burden both on employees and on organisations/companies, as well. Since the presence of conflicts drains much energy, efficient operation becomes hindered or unfeasible and financial losses appear. Prolonged disputes can get to a point when they make the operation of the company/organisation impossible. Therefore, both open and hidden conflicts poison and financially harm the organisation and the employees.

With the help of mediation it is possible to reveal the different layers of the conflict and parties can come to an agreement in the disputed points. Thus, mediation relieves the emotional load of the staff and removes financial burden from the organisation deriving from inefficient operation. Mediation assists parties in settling their arguments in various domains, such as:

• conflicts among co-workers and groups of employees,
• at management level, disputes between managers,
• conflicts between the employer and one or more employees,
• disagreements between different operational units of the company,
• conflicts between trade unions and the employer.

Working in a conflicting environment is hard for everybody, even in a short term, regardless age or position. This kind of environment has serious negative effect on the staff both emotionally and financially. Mediation works very well in organsiational conflicts as it does not only help parties to settle a particular dispute but also positively influences the communication between parties and boosts further improvement in their work relationship, in consequence, the quality of their cooperation progresses and further collaboration becomes possible. This deliberates the employees from massive emotional load and for the organisation the improvement in cooperation leads to financial gains. Take advantage of the possibilities offered by mediation in order to recuperate or sustain the effective functioning of your company.

You find useful information about mediation under "general rules of mediation" and on the main page. If you have further questions either about mediation in general or about a particular case, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am glad to assist you also via telephone.
