    Terms and Conditions
of Shaolin Viaggi ( by SXCYTS)

        The Terms and Conditions and all information contained on this page form the basis of the contractual relationship between Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) and all its clients . It is extremely important that all our clients understand and accept the Terms and Conditions as well as all web content before you make your tour booking. By making a booking with us, you are supposed to have agreed to accept the Terms and Conditions on this page.

Payment Policy:  

l When you decide to take our service on the agreed price, please send us an E-mail to state your acceptance. Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) will then check the availability such as hotels, flight tickets, cruise tickets and so on. You will be invoiced on confirmation of the booking and should be paid in according to the dates below prior to the customer's arrival.

l Upon receiving our confirmation of availability of your booking, a deposit of 30% (depending on different destinations and hotels) is to be paid within one week.

l Balance is to be effected latest 15 days before the customer's arrival or UPON ARRIVAL (If your first or second arriving city is Xi'an where our office headquarter located, you may make the balance of the payment upon your arrival.
Special For Yangtze River Cruise
: For those who book Yangtze River Cruise Only, balance is to be effected latest 35 days before the starting date of the cruise. Cancellation policy will be different from regular tours as well.

l In case if we do not receive agreed the sum of money before the arrival, then we have the right not to provide the tourist, transport and other related services agreed, without any obligation of payment for losses to the customer.

Important Notes for those who make the payment through wire transfer:

  1. If you choose to make the payment through wire transfer, please aware that it will take about 10 days for your money to reach our account. We recommend you use Bank of China to do the transfer, as it will reach us more quickly.
  2. Please inform us by sending us the draft of your bank by fax (0086 371 5653362) after you have wired us the the money.
  3. Our Bank Information for wire transfer: When you have definitively confirm your trip to China, We will send it to you.  (If your Bank ask for routing number or ABA number, please tell them it is not necessary in sending money to China.)

    Important Notes for those who make the payment by credit card or traveller cheque:

    Please note that a 6% surcharge by Bank of China will be added to your total cost if you pay by credit card.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cancel your booking after you have paid the 15 % deposit of the total charge less than 4 weeks before your tour departure, no refund will be made. So we strongly advise you to take out insurance against irrecoverable cancellation cost.
  • Special For Yangtze River Cruiser: For those who book Yangtze River Cruise Only, Cancellation received within 45 days, 100% of your payment will not be refunded. For those who book Tours contains Yangtze River Cruise as part of your tour, Yangtze River Cruise fare will not be refunded if cancellation received within 1 month.
  • We reserve the right at any time to make changes or cancel bookings for reasons beyond our control. If we cancel a booking, the customer is entitled to full reimbursement of money paid in accordance with that particular booking or offer a similar alternative program with similar and compatible services
    Non-included Items in Our Tour Price
    • International airfare
    • Airport departure tax(about 6 USD per person for the domestic flight and 11 USD for the international flight per person), customs fee, overweight baggage(20kg/pax maximum) charges, portage, gratuities and tipping;
    • China visa fee;
    • CITY CONSTRUCTION FEE
    • Optional tours and meals that not specified in the Itinerary;
    • Tips.
    • Items of a personal nature such as laundry, dry cleaning, beverages, personal accident and medical expenses, incidental expenses, taxis where not part of a regular transfer, telephone and telecommunication charges. 

    Airport Tax

    In China, every passenger has to pay 50 yuan (RMB) of airport tax for domestic departure and 90 yuan (RMB) for international departure (including Hong Kong and Macao). Usually it’s not included in the tour price except specified.

    Luggage Allowance

    In accordance with the International Airline Regulations, the free baggage allowance for economy class passengers is 20kg plus limited cabin luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft. 

    Travel Documents

    All clients mast be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas at the time of commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel agent may assist, on request, in organizing the necessary travel documentation. Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.

    Note: Travel "vouchers" do not work in the same way as in western countries. The hotels and cruise ships do not require vouchers from Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS)'s clients. You just need to check in with your names which are already in their computer before you arrive. The local guide will help you check in.

    Group Tours

    Group prices are based on a minimum number of 6 adults traveling together and staying in twin share accommodation as stated in each tour. Should the minimum number of persons not be attained, Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) reserves the right to cancel, amend or recalculate the cost of the tour program. If such an event occurs, we shall endeavor to provide the choice of an alternative tour or the client may continue the tour as amended or cancel participation of the tour altogether in which case a full refund of the tour cost will be made. 

    Traveler's Safety

    Many of our tours include activities which require attention, caution and discipline such as climbing into and out of boats and up and down hills; and entering and exiting ancient tombs or caves. Our experienced guides and other staff will advise you and assist you in these activities, but you undertake all such activities at your own risk. Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS), its employees and agents cannot be responsible for participants who do not exercise normal and customary caution, who do not stay with the group, and/or who do not heed the advice and instructions of our guides.

    Health Requirements

    Clients should familiarize themselves with any health requirement applicable to areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for compliance with vaccination and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. For those traveling to Tibet, due to extreme high altitude, a doctor’s certificate is requested stating that passenger is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. 

    Travel Complaints

    If the client feel that a valid complaint or claim should be lodged with Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) or its service providers, the client hereby agrees to the following procedures and terms.

    Should the client feel that a failure in performance of Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) or its service providers has occurred, the client agrees to immediately inform the local service provider. At this time, the local service provider will endeavor to promptly resolve the matter of complaint and inform Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) of the specific circumstances. Should the local service provider be unable to assist or be unavailable, the client agrees to contact Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) by telephone or facsimile.

    In the event of a claim for compensation, the client agrees to inform by facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of the tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence most be attached to the letter of claim.

    Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the date of tour completion. 

    RESPONSIBILITY

    SPECIAL POSITIONS We are not responsible for these positions:

    • All the negative actions during passing the custom .
    • All the negative actions and delays which happened because of air companies;
    • Stolen and lost of valuable things of tourists because of his/her false
    • All the losses and damages caused by the tourists themselves
    • Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) acts only as agent for suppliers such as air carriers and hotels identified on documents supplied to you in connection with your purchase of the tours described herein or other travel services. Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS), or by the failure of any equipment operated by any such supplier or other party. Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes to itineraries or schedules, or from any causes resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas, or other documents. Neither Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
    • The right is reserved to substitute hotels and cruise ships and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is canceled prior to the passenger's joining the tour, Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) is liable for a refund of money received by Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS). Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) is not responsible nor liable for defaults of those not directly under the control of Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS).
    • The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases Shaolin Viaggi (by SXCYTS) from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security conditions during the length of the proposed travel.
    • Prices are subject to change.

    The receipt of your deposit and/or final payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them.
