A : #punkrockvids is a chat channel, to reach it u need mirc32,
a chat program (download at www.mirc.com). install the program,
connect to an EFNET server and type /join #punkrockvids

Q : How Do I Use Mirc?
A : Tutorials can be found on the net (in English), otherwise
consult the help file.

Q : How Can I Recieve Files?
A : In Your DCC options menu turn auto accept and resume on
at send request, and auto accept on at chat request .

Q : Now How Do i Request Files?
A : Use the "!list" command in the channel to recieve the list
of the Fservers present and type the corresponding trigger (ie
!i want videos) to access the server and request dcc sends.

Q: Why are XXXXX and YYYYYY on your
site? They're not real punk!
A : Take your 'real punk' ass over to another site that plays
their videos then.

A : We don't sell vids AT ALL, or distribute them any further.
What you see here is what you get (although there MIGHT be a
few more songs from each show available from file servers on
our IRC channel, #punkrockvids on EFNET)

Q : Why don't you put more vids on
the site?
A : All this hosting so that you can download stuff for free
costs us money, which believe it or not, we pay out of our own
pockets. We're looking at some kind of donation scheme where
you donate a buck or two through Paypal, then we can buy more
bandwidth and give you more of what you want. Until then, keep
checking the site and the channel.

out (perhaps you can get our filmers passes for your bands'

A : Again, contact skiso@punkrockvids.com, we're always lookin
to help out lesser known bands from anywhere. It must be a real
professionally edited promo video for one of your songs though,
not a live one-camera thing.

Q : What happens to the full videos?
Is there any way at all I can get them? It was my birthday at
the show and had sex with the lead singer. Now I'm pregnant
and I need a copy of the tape to prove that the baby is his.
A : That's what DNA tests are for. No, you can't get ANYTHING
from us anyhow, not under any circumstance. If we distributed
stuff a.) this site wouldn't exist anymore as bands/labels would
almost certainly shut us down instantly and b.) the tapes would
almost certainly end up on eBay, and that's something we're
strongly against.
