The sonic performances of 6C45-PE vacuum triode () can be astounding in very simple designs.
This section shows possible solutions of '45-pe triode with PAEng Magnetics: a series of C-Core irons specifically designed to obtain the excellence in sound reproduction with high-perveance, high-s triodes. Design target was simplicity of building and low costs.
The Schematics to follows represent the results of a three years design/benchmark activity. Please keep away concerns about the plate voltage of '45-pe triode wich works out of the maximum ratings regularly. I'm monitoring a bench where a 6C45-PE triode pair works at maximum plate dissipation with 250V; within 6,000 hours of burning I have noticed no alteration and/or spreading in the electrical parameters.
