Born in Pisa in 1957, after passing the final exam at a scientific lyceum, he graduated in Law at the University of Pisa in the academic year 1983/84, with a specialization in Philosophy of Right.

During the first year of studies in Florence he was a student of Prof. Luigi Lombardi Vallauri and he discussed his degree thesis with Prof. Domenico Corradini, in diametric opposition of orientations.

He entered on the roll of practising solicitors in 1986, and he did his training in the office of the lawyer Massimo Martini in Pisa. In the meantime he obtained the qualification for teaching law subjects, and at the end of his training he passed the exam to practice the legal profession at the Court of Appeal of Florence, becoming a solicitor in 1989.

He carried on the collaboration with the office dealing with civil cases and, in particular, with the sectors of  commercial and industrial law, treating with practices and disputes for account of leading local firms working in the field of building industry and air or road transport.

In the same period, he trained his professional experience also in the tax field, in the sector of exam procedures and in penal law, with a particular consideration of tax and bankruptcy offences.

Iit  begins also to collaborate with some important reviews of doctrine and jurisprudence.

The majority of his publications regard the most interesting final judgements, dealing with the most important aspects of decisions, studies and discussions involved in the course and treatment of the cases.

His first publication, realized in 1993 in the magazine ’Il fisco’, has its roots in the development of a trial ended with the approval of the following thesis (which even the Court of Cassation approved a year later): making out a receipt for items purchased with a stub which is different from the one of a client is not a crime. Since there isn’t a concrete falsification it is considered only as a tax offence, without penal repercussions.

Afterwards, he started receiving the first mandates from bankruptcy organs of the Law Court, to resolve controversies which involved also tax problems.

After having worked as a solicitor, he carried on his activity as a professional lawyer. Is registered in Spain from 2012 to the College of Lawyers of Madrid.
