Hi all. Just another update from this Amazing country. I don't think that my description will do justice to the places I have seen and the people I have met, you have to see and feel from your own eyes and hands... It's 6am and I have just come back to Bangkok from a 12hour trip from Chang Mai and now I am waiting for my Bus to Cambodia and also for my visa which is around 7am. In the mean time I thought that I would write to you all..

Chang Mai is 12 hours up north from Bangkok, near the country of Laho.. I went there for a 3 day Trekking in the Jungle and it was my first time! We were a group of about 20 and had such a good time. Met soo many people and we were a very good group as it was one whole group the whole time and not small groups. There were Scottish, Irish, British, Spanish, Thai, Australian, Singaporean, Argentinean and Sri Lankan/Italian of course :) One guy has just sold his car and started travelling at the age of 29.. he has no aim, just travelling and this is the Argentinean... The Australian has been travelling on and off for about 10 years now.. They were all interesting people and soo many interesting stories.. At the start of the Trekking we were taken to a local market to get food and necessary stuff for the days to come.. The weather was very bad and rainy...The high light of the market was that there was fried insects and Grass hoppers and the Irish boys bought them and ate them! We got dropped off a little local village up a mountain where we had Lunch. In a summary the Trekking in the Jungle was: Up/Down Steep hills.. Many people fell and were covered in Mud, walked near the edge of cliffs and reached the second village where we had our hut for the night. There we had beer, music, guitar playing and just a good time. There were some local children who came and performed some local songs.. The hut was build with leaves and wood and coconut trees, no lights or anything, just candle lighting.. Going to the toilet and also having a shower was a mission! The next day we had breakfast and started the trekking early.. Went through hills and through the jungle to reach a second village near a waterfall where we had our stop. Had a really good massage under the waterfall.. soo relaxing.. first time in my life! then we trekked off more and manage to get to the Elephants village where we got a 1 hour elephant ride. More walking and reached the top of a hill where our second stop for the night was. Here more beer, food and partying! We had non stop singing till about 3 am as it was our last night. Encountered a scorpion as well during the middle of the night including loads of insects and other little creatures of the night. The night in the jungle is soo noisy.. With all the insects having their own party singing. Next morning we were soo tired after the partying night before! Next day more trekking and Bamboo rafting! I did not manage to get loads of pictures as my batteries died and did not have any electricity at all but manage to get few pictures and I am going to get off other pictures from the other guys when they get home. But the time I had was a great and I am soo glad that I did this 3 day Trekking. It was fun, walking in the jungle, meeting soo many people and hearing soo many stories.. Falling in the mud, and just having a good time and enjoying the wild life and at the same time see the local villages, how they live and be Immersed in nature.

Something that we cannot do this in the big cities, it was agood experience but at the end I never felt soo dirty in my whole life!!! I was with the same cloths for 3 days as there was no point in changing as it was going to get dirty and muddy and I did not take a lot of cloths wit me. I think that I have written enough.,.. This does not at all describe what I have been through and but it is a little description...I better go and get a wash as in a few minutes I have to get the second bus go to Cambodia.. I also left my passport here to get Visa and hope that they have given it to me :( Time is running out soo fast! Hope to make the best of it in the next 3 days. Thailand is a place to visit. Not so much Bangkok but place up north. But it all depends on what you like to do. Bangkok has party life, pubs and loads of girls.. but if you like the Nature, and nice sceneries.. Then little villages or just going up north, you will see some Amazing places!.. I think that I am going to come back again as to see this country fully you need at least 3 months+ there are other countries to go here like Vietnam and Cambodia and Laho....

Anyway..
Take care everybody and might write you later on..
Ciao Ciao. and be good
Me :)
