TV Guide Online: Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
  • . Burton's background as a Disney animator is perfect for the film; he gives PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE a wonderfully cartoonish look through design, lighting, and camera angles

  • . Filmtracks Editorial Review: Badelt Zimmer Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl : (Klaus Badelt and co.) When popular action producer Jerry Bruckheimer was announced to be making a film adaptation of the legendary Disneyland theme part attraction, fans of the swashbuckling genre erupted with hope and anticipation
  • . Having proven his larger-than-life action scoring abilities with a range of films from Back to the Future to The Mummy Returns , Silvestri was well-qualified for the job, especially having worked with Disney in recent years
  • . Disney presented Hans Zimmer with enough money to unleash his Media Ventures artists on the project, restraining his own contribution to some synthesizer programming and consultation
  • . It immediately begs the question: Did none of these two dozen men at Media Ventures actually walk across town and get on the ride at Disneyland? Certainly, Zimmer and Badelt both made their journey from Germany to America long enough ago to spare a few moments on the classic ride in Anaheim

    Filmtracks: Peter Pan
  • . Barrie, originally becoming famous as a stage production, has more recently inspired a 1953 animated Disney movie, a Broadway play, television spin-offs, and a 1991 Steven Spielberg sequel (of sorts)
