About Us
The AccordoAzzurro is a very young choral and instrumental created by Maestro Carlo Monticelli Cuggiò.
Made up of boys and girls who in spite of their young age have already developed several musical experiences in the most prestigious choirs and orchestras nationally known, conceived and directed by the same Conductor: the Daniele Manin Multiethnic Polyphonic Choir, the Multiethnic Polyphonic Choir of Rome, the Rhythmical-symphonic Youth Choir and Orchestra of the Ministry of Education and the National Rhythmical-symphonic Youth Choir and Orchestra.
The AccordoAzzurro is an original mix of classical elegance and youthful freshness because it revisits the Music of the greatest composers making changes in rhythm and harmony. It plays a repertoire ranging from sacred to profane, from classical music to American covers, from the most famous soundtracks to popular songs, Musical , national anthems and even unpublished musical compositions and sing till 4 mixed voices and in 7 different languages.
Its components have to their credit more than 70 concerts in addition to recordings, radio and TV live appearances and interviews and performances to the Presence of the Dignitaries of State, Ambassadors and Pope Benedict the XVI th.
Tour in Italy and abroad.
Its Artistic headquarter is at the Knights of Columbus Foundation, in Via dei Sabelli 88 / c, in San Lorenzo, Rome.
