About of THE LIVING FISH SWIMS IN WATER
God Among Directors: Arctic Blue
. Bouncing, it comes down hard against the axle-deep bank at the creek's high water mark. Below, the water is too deep and fast-moving to be traversable
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
. Suddenly, the water is illuminated by the headlights of an n.d. They slip into the water while a third waits outside the tank. He locks the door, turns on the water faucet, steps onto the toilet seat, opens and climbs out a window. CAMP'S MANSION - FISH TANKS - CONT Ace browses through a myriad of dramatically lit, salt water tanks, still singing. The ladder leads to a narrow catwalk over the center of the water. Now he stops singing, quietly squats down and dangles the fish over the water. ACE (gently) Snowflake… Here, Snowflake… Snooowflaaaake… A GREAT WHITE LUNGES OUT OF THE WATER AND SNAPS ITS JAWS AN INCH FROM ACE'S FACE!!! NEEDLESS He reels back, falling off the catwalk, into the water. INDOOR POOL ROOM - SAME TIME The water is still for a moment. Instantly, Ace's body is thrashed around back and forth through the water, the entire length of the pool. EINHORN (O.S.) (humoring him) Oh yeah? ACE yeah, ever hear of a former Dolphin kicker named Ray Finkle? The water shuts off
The Daily Script: Cruel Intentions
. One foot soaks in a small tub of water while Sook-Hee tends to her other foot. Kathryn kicks some water in her face. She sits by the pool as Sebastian treads water away from her. ANNETTE How's the water? SEBASTIAN Refreshing. CECILE (eyes watering) I want to go home. SEBASTIAN I said, do you want some water? MRS
CNN: Tim Cahill chats about the IMAX film Dolphins
. With the underwater housing, it weighed 250 lbs. Question from Tafrina: Hello, Tim! Why do dolphins spray water from the hole on the top of their heads? What is happening when they do that? Tim Cahill: Dolphins are mammals and need to breathe. Sometimes they actually blow water that has collected in their blowhole when they surface. The sense of being in the water with the dolphins is intense. But every time I'm in the water with dolphins, I think about the human condition and our relation to the other life on the planet

I Am Legend
. We don't have enough to do both the water conduits and the -- DOMINGO (to Neville) Bob? Neville doesn't turn from the TV. A drop of rain water trickles down his forehead, over his eyebrow and straight down across his eye. He hears a sound over the running tap water -- a strange sound, elliptical -- is it a coyote howling? Something mechanical? He turns off the water. We see a water buffalo being dragged down by a pack of jackals. Splendid wallpaper hangs in rotting shreds, heaps of trash pollute the corners, water trickles down from the disintegrating roof far above and splashes to the wooden dance floor. Canned and powdered food line the shelves along with much bottled water. As Neville prepares we note that an iron water tank on an old wooden frame looms over the roof. He quickly turns and aims up -- at the wooden frame of the water tank above the roof. He squeezes off shot after shot at a wooden leg of the tank until, finally, the leg shatters and the tower collapses over -- A TORRENT OF WATER spills from the tank, it washes away everything in its path -- including Neville -- the deluge ROARS him toward the edge of the roof -- he thrusts his hands out -- vainly trying to find a handhold -- no good
Beaver Information
. A common furbearer, the beaver inhabits waterways of every North American state and Canadian Province. Beaver are powerful animals both on land and in the water. These glands produce an oil which the beaver combs into its fur to waterproof it. Beaver have transparent eyelids which cover the eyes as the beaver submerges, enabling the beaver to see well when submerged as the eyeball is protected from abrasive particles suspended in the water. The ears and nose of a beaver have valves that close as a beaver submerges, preventing the entry of water. Newborn beaver kits take to the water easily, and they might be swimming before they are one day old. Habits Beaver require deep water for protection from their enemies, and they alter the landscape a great deal with dam building and flooding. Permanent lodges are often constructed by piling layer after layer of sticks into a large conical form above the waterline. Two or more underwater tunnels are then chewed up into the pile, and an inner chamber hollowed out to serve as a living quarters
Nature's Sovereignty rules Northwestern Hawaiian Isles
. They act as the sea's "vacuum cleaners, " drawing in and pumping out water. That is why we are working our tails off to survey these reefs in the most complete manner possible." The Paradise Queen II, a longline fishing vessel shipwrecked two years ago on Kure Atoll, is continuing to break apart and deteriorate in Green Island waters, the scientists said. Underwater photographers documented the vessel's impact on the pristine waters. After seven years of work and monitoring, there's no sign of the Polynesian rats there now, while Christmas shearwaters, Bonin petrels, wedge-tailed shearwaters and red-tailed tropic birds have increased, Shiinoki said. After a series of dives off Kure, Jim Maragos, a coral reef biologist and principal investigator for the Fish and Wildlife Service on the Rapture, called it "an awesome little place." "The corals, the fish and the charismatic mega-fauna -- the big stuff like monk seals, ulua and sharks -- we found far exceeded our expectations and challenged what we had previously thought about this place." Holzwarth described "soft, golden-sand beaches" at Laysan Island, with monk seals "lined up like black bean bags along the beach and the thousands of sea birds that nest there." At Lisianski Island, she said, they dove on coral that "was a mosaic of shapes and colors on the huge pinnacles -- a virtual Neptune's kingdom of coral castles spiraling up through the clear water." Maxfield said many questions are being posed to the researchers and answered on the Bishop Museum's expedition Web site:
The Provisional Peoples Democratic Republic of Diego Garcia
. The Brits and USN are doing their best to keep the island a true tropical paradise, but someday, the Americans and Brits will leave, and a swarm of 3rd worlders will come in, cut down the jungle to build their shanties, catch and eat all the fish and sea turtles, drain the freshwater lenses dry, and whine for foreign aid. The motor vehicle population is kept to a barest minimum, and careful accounting of the biped population ensures it does not exceed the island's natural ability to provide fresh water. Life outside the water echoes the tides of the sea, with a mostly Navy military population shifting in and out in one year tours. A stable water table of Filipino and Mauritian contractors, peppered with a handful of stalwart Americans, provide the island's only human stability. How many of you are denied the basic needs of a free skeet range? How am I to endure this burden? By now you are asking yourself "how can I help, how can I make a difference"? All I ask is that you send an encouraging card or letter to brighten my lonely days at the following address: [editor's note: Russ Retired, got a good job, is too far from a large body of water to sail, but has turned to Turkey Killing for a suitable substitute pastime...so your cards and letters paid off] Please send this letter to 5 of your friends so they might feel my pain
