I'm having trouble finding the correct Linux driver for my dialup internet service. I would have dsl/cable if it was available in my area, but it is not right now. I have a Gateway Laptop with a Conexant ac 97 modem.

Trouble with USB modem in winXP_x64
i've the following problem with my ADSL usb modem in winXP_x64: i can't find the driver for it. The modem is a Trust Speedlink A235 with Conexant chipset, but on trust site they aren't. i've contacted trust but the answer was negative.

I managed to install my modem driver, unfurtunally it connects at 14kb/s (conexant modem) so it takes a relly long time for me to get updates or download additional software. I was wondering if I could just download the packages/updates
