My wireless IEEE802.11 b/g access point router/ADSL modem cost me about RM235, so RM299 is a bit pricey by comparison but still affordable and prices should come down as more are available in the market.
WPN824 as Access Point - Not Visible
I have a Netgear DG834 ADSL modem/router with a WPN824 connected together using the non-Internet ports DHCP is off on the WPN824 and it is now acting as a wireless access point. All the computers, both wireless and wired are visible.
MAC address control access
Does any1 knows how MAC address control acces works? Will this work if I have a Gigabyte router that contains a MAC address of a access point & my access point contains all MAC addresses of the PC's NIC MAC address. Thanks

We could have used a wireless Access Point (AP) on the upper storey. Much to my surprise however, a wireless AP cost 2 times as much as a wireless router. I have no idea why. The retailer hinted that AP are used typically by offices,
