Stefano Caniato
(Bercandeon).
He
was born in Milano, in 1961.
In
1987 he gratueted as a choir conductor by the conservatory of
Brescia.
In
1994 he gratueted in jazz music with top marks, at the conservatory
of Bologna.
He
likes jazz a lot and it’s very important for him.
He
can play every type of afro-American music: from Blues to Bop, from
Ragtime to Swing, to the most updated sounds.
He
collaborates with famous artists like Clark Terry, Bob Wilber, Dave
Glasser, Garrison Fewell, Gianni Coscia, Mauro Negri, Lucia Minetti
and many more.
He
has taken part to numerous Festival and important radyo broadcast,
among which “Jazz Club” and “Invenzioni a due voci” (RAI 3).
From
1993 to 1999 he conducted the “East Side Big Band”.

Caniato has arranged the songs of several CDs.
“Wonder Why”, the
second CD of “Mantha Jazz trio” came out in 2003.
In
2004 went on a two weeks in Texas.
“My
Wish” came out two years later. In this CD the American saxophonist
Paul White plays with the Mantua Jazz Trio.
