Christoph Jacob Christoph Jacob (Tenor sax). I was born in 1947 in
München, I grew up in Bremen, and I have lived in Frankfurt/Main
since the late 70s.
I played the violin, classic as a schoolboy, free jazz later on and classic again for the last 20 years.
I started playing the sax in 2004, alto first but soon afterwards bariton. I am a member of some saxophon-quartets and a saxophon-swing-orchestra.
I played tenor in a saxophon-barock-orchestra for a year. I am going to try out some virtual playing with other musicians.
One of my favourite musician is Chet Baker - so I'm very pleased to play in a band with his former drummer !!!
At last: I'm almost autodidact in saxophon-playing and English but I hope my playing is better.
