QSL
Word of the Q Code that, when used as
a name, indicates the confirmation postcards that amateurs send
each other, by mail or via their associations.
Each QSL shows the date and hour of the radio contact, the
frequency, the mode and the received signal strength, as well as the
call signs of both stations.
Since this is a postcard anyway, usually one of its sides shows a
photo of the radio equipment, or the amateur itself, or a panorama of
its town, etc.
QSL are also mandatory to prove the QSO
required for the achievement of awards.
