The year of Guglielmo Marconi's Centenary of Radio, the Rome ARI section
created the "Centenario Marconiano" award that will be achieved
by every OM and SWL making QSO/HRD, either in SSB or CW,
with amateurs of the Rome ARI section, from October 1 to October 29, 1995.
Rules
The award is available for HF 10/80 m and for V-U-SHF.
There are three categories: mixed, phone and CW.
The Rome ARI stations will give RST, WWL (only for VHF and up) and a
progressive number that you must write down in your log.
The same stations can be contacted more than once a day,
although in different bands, up to 4 QSO.
QSO via repeater, MS, EME, crossband, etc. are not valid.
Each QSO/HRD with Rome ARI stations adds 1 point to your score, while
QSO with the special call sign station will give you 5 points.
To obtain the award you must totalize the following score:
in HF
50 points for Italian and European stations
40 point for the others
in VHF 30 points
in UHF 20 points
in SHF 10 points
Points of different bands do not add up.
At the end of the award, there will also be classifications for each band.
For HF, first OM, first YL and first SWL will receive a prize. For VHF and up
there will be a prize also for first IW station.
The applications for the award, along with the log and Lit. 10,000 or
