Subject: svchost.exe question Posted: Sat Nov 11, 2006 1:03 pm (GMT -5) I have 6 of these running in task manager, do I need 6 of them? I read your info, that these are not necessary at start up. Thank you

Do a search for "svchost" and see what you find. If any are located outside of the System or System32 folder, then you have malware. They are not supposed to be in the list of startup programs either. I have 5 currently running and they
