Curriculum vitae

 

She began her musical education at the Conservatory of Music of Cosenza, her home town, where she achieved her piano Diploma at the age of nineteen with Francesco Monopoli. There she also studied Composition.

She studied with Sergio Cafaro at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese and with Hector Pell at the Curci Academy of Music (Barletta), where she received the Diploma of Honour after an International Biennial Piano Master Course. She continued her training with Aquiles delle Vigne in Brussels and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, with Eduardo Ogando in Rome, with Lazar Berman in Florence and, recently, with Cristiano Burato.

She participated successfully in national and international piano competitions. In 2015 she received the most important acknowledgments: she won the First prize at the International Music Competition “Erik Satie” in Lecce (Italy) and, awarded at the Worldwide Competition IBLA Grand Prize, the New York IBLA Foundation recommends her among outstanding professionals” who “deserve the attention of the international public at large”, mentioning her “in reference to a standard of excellence at all times”.

She has been invited to be a jury member of International Piano Competitions.

She has performed in Italy, Austria and Germany in recital and chamber music, and from 2007 she regularly plays with the Italian violinist Eugenio Prete.

Eclectic personality, mathematics is one of her passions. She graduated summa cum laude at the University of Calabria at the age of 21.
