Radio Firmware 49026

Your 8390 lasts only 12 hours? You need to upgrade your RF.

You need:

  1. The RF49026

  2. An 8390 ;-)

  3. An usb cable

Currently the number of 8390s in the world fried for not following my instructions correctly are:

Do you want to increase this number? No? Then READ CAREFULLY!

So:

  1. Close activesync (Kill wcescomm.exe)

  2. Turn off the 8390

  3. Connect it to the usb

  4. Turn it on pressing the DOWN key

  5. A boot menu will appear

  6. Go to Rf module upgrade IMPORTANT!! RF not firmware/rom/microp! RF upgrade!

  7. Select by usb

  8. Launch the Falcon R02 software (included in the zip file) with this settings:

  9. Wait crossing your fingers

  10. Reboot phone when asked

  11. Check if upgrade is done by dialing *#83908390*

 

A note: According to Mitac service center, there isn't an official version RF49026.

I've heard some rumors on internet that in china there's the R45 with the 49026 for radio. When will be released the european version?

Dear Sir, Actually radio firmware version you are referring to has not been approved in Europe and thus cannot be installed. If you want to achieve the upgrade as mentioned previously, it will take the time for your device to go back and forth between Italy and Belgium + and extra 2-3 days to have it upgraded.
