MiTAC Mio 8390 Rom R44 Europe

This is the definitive Firmware (yes, in Capital letters) for the 8390. It have the following advantages compared with all the other:

1. NO chinese support

2. t9 in many european languages

3. When you type a strange word using t9, it appear a "Insert New word" prompt dialog

4. When you type using t9 on the screen it appear a menu with all the possible words (Like on all Sony Ericsson phones)

5. It's GAPI fixed (don't install Picard's Gapi2Gdi patch!!!)

6. No chinese calendar java program

7. You can finally disable channel broadcasting in order to not receive any more weird network messages

"Bugs" compared with other roms:

1. Arcsoft's MMS client have been replaced by Materna's Anny Way MMS (Yes, it's Anny, not Any). It's SLOW and BADLY TRANSLATED

2. When you take a photo, the shutter sound occurs even if in Silent mode and with earpiece volume set to zero. (There's a workaround)

3. You CAN'T see how many mms you have received on the homescreen

4. If you receive an mms the external display doesn't notify it
