Istruzioni per recuperare tutte le cartelle e le email da Outlook Express

(in Win XP)

(per spostarle su un altro PC, per fare un back-up, ecc):


1) Aprire Esplora risorse (Start / Tutti i programmi / Accessori / Esplora risorse)

2) Menù in alto di Esplora risorse, selezionare: Strumenti / opzioni cartella / visualizzazione /
e spuntare: "visualizza cartelle e file nascosti" poi OK!
 

3) in Esplora risorse andare qui:
Risorse del Computer
C:\Documents and Settings\nome attuale utente\Impostazioni locali\Dati applicazioni\Identities\{serie di numeri}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

oppure qui (dipende dalla versione di Win XP installata):
C:\Documents and Settings\nome attuale utente\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{serie di numeri}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
 

In questa cartella "Outlook Express" troverai tutte le cartelle che hai nel tuo Outlook Express (saranno in formato .dbx; troverai quindi "posta in arrivo.dbx" , "posta in uscita.dbx" , ecc)

Copia tutti questi file ".dbx" su un CD o floppy e spostali sul nuovo PC
(sempre in C:\Documents and Settings\nome attuale utente\Impostazioni locali\Dati applicazioni\Identities\{serie di numeri}\Microsoft\Outlook Express)
 

Per esportare la rubrica:

Apri Outlook Express
Menù in alto, seleziona File/Esporta/Rubrica

Oppure, trovi la rubrica qui con Esplora risorse:
Risorse del Computer
C:\Documents and Settings\nome attuale utente\Dati applicazioni\Microsoft\Address Book

Per fare il Back-up di tutte le regole messaggi e/o dei mittenti bloccati:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{Identity Number}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Rules\Mail

    

4. On the Registry menu, click Export Registry File.
5. In the Save In box, change the location to your desktop.
6. In the File Name box, type mail rules.reg (for the mail rules key), and then click Save.
7. On the Registry menu, click Exit.
