| Ritorno al futuro rappresenta il primo grande successo di Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away), qui ancora sotto l'ala protettrice di Steven Spielberg, impegnato in qualità di produttore esecutivo. Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) si ritrova catapultato nel 1955 da una macchina del tempo costruita dall'amico scienziato Emmett 'Doc' Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Purtroppo la macchina del tempo funziona a plutonio e Marty non è più in grado di ritornare nel futuro. L'unico che è in grado di aiutarlo è il Doc del 1955 che proprio nel giorno dell'arrivo di Marty ha la prima grande visione sul viaggio nel tempo. Ma mentre Doc è impegnato nel trovare un modo per rimandare a casa il ragazzo, Marty conosce i suoi genitori ancora teenager, compromette il loro primo incontro, mettendo così a rischio il suo stesso concepimento. Inizia così una corsa contro il tempo per far innamorare i suoi genitori prima di cambiare irrimediabilmente il futuro. Commistione perfettamente riuscita tra commedia e fantascienza classica, Ritorno al futuro è un film unico nel suo genere, dotato di un ritmo perfetto, effetti spettacolari, trovate divertentissime e un cast brillante assolutamente irresistibile: un classico intramontabile del genere fantastico. |
