This year's free annual event will feature 17 farms. The once-a-year opportunity to see Lehigh County agriculture up close and personal will arrive from 1-5 p.m. next Sunday during the Open Gate Farm Tour sponsored by the Penn State Cooperative Extension. The event is rain or shine. And it's free.
I-35's toll road twin to go east, end at Laredo Austin American-Statesman
GRAPEVINE — The Trans-Texas Corridor toll road twin to Interstate 35 will flank the freeway to the east from Dallas to San Antonio, include the Texas 130 turnpike in Central Texas and go to Laredo rather than Brownsville, according to a draft environmental report that state officials released Tuesday.
