Prayer
Have we experienced a true friendship? We can't contain ourselves and we cry out because we want to be called by our name; in order to become ourselves we need another to come to us:
When we have the grace of a true friendship we will be changed, transformed in the most intimate part of our person.

The love of God
When a being of flesh and blood enters our life, he upsets it and gives it a new meaning.
We have met someone who has come to us and told us words that solicit a response and change our whole life.
Our problems and our difficulties remain, but we see them in a new way. The same happens when God comes to us and speaks a word of friendship to us.
The love of God is so strong, so powerful, that it is capable of restoring the virginity of our heart. Saint Augustine will speak of the virginizing love of God. God does not love us because we are pretty, but he loves us because we can become so.
We can change, we have changed, because He, God, has met us, has spoken to us, because his own love has changed us.
God's love for us is not an empty word, it is a word that accomplishes what it brings with it, an effective, operative word. As the encounter with another changes us, so the encounter with God, with Jesus transforms us in the depths of our being.
Between you and Me, says God, there is a bond that nothing could break. I am your God; you are my son. We will share. I, My eternity, my life and My holiness, you, your daily life, your earthly life and your poverty. Your existence will unite with Mine, and we will never be separated again, because I am God and I will no longer question my alliance, in a certain way, our destinies are linked to each other.
Between you and Me there is a communion of being on which a communion of looks and love is rooted. It is above all in Jesus that this alliance will be perfectly realized.
Let us descend into the depths of our heart to discover you as its source, this current of life that irrigates our entire person.
It is precisely in the certainty of being God's ally that our prayer is deeply rooted. Which flows simply, affectionately and serenely, because we feel that God spoke to us first and wants to link his destiny to ours.
"The Lord has bound himself to you and chosen you, not because you are more numerous than all other peoples - you are in fact the smallest of all peoples - but because the Lord loves you".
Prayer is that privileged moment in which we contemplate the love of the Father who generates us to filial life. He wants to free us from the depths of our humanity to develop freely within us.
We will no longer have to look for ideas and words to express our prayer. It will be enough for us to exist as a child of God: our very being will be a prayer.
SOUL OF CHRIST
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, comfort me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Inside your wounds, hide me.
Do not allow me to separate myself from You,
to praise You with Your Saints
forever and ever.
And let me come to You.
Amen.
TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
O Jesus, we know that You are Merciful
and that You have offered Your Heart for us.
It is crowned with thorns and our sins.
We know that You constantly implore us
so that we do not get lost.
Jesus, remember us when we fall into sin.
Through Your Most Sacred Heart,
make all men love one another.
May hatred disappear among men, show us your love.
We all love You
and we desire that You protect us,
with Your Shepherd's Heart,
and free us from every sin.
Jesus, enter every heart!
Be patient and never give up.
We are still closed,
because we have not understood your love.
Knock continually.
Grant, O good Jesus, that we may open our hearts to You,
at least when we remember
your Passion suffered for us.
Amen.
