Hail Nuclear Ripped Pig! First of all I would like to know a biography of your band, also because I only have your split 7” with Groinchurn… Did you record something else before or after that split? In which way did you enter in contact with Groinchurn? Are you a quite known band in the Grindcore underground scene?
Hail Hitler and the whore Mary! Well, Grimness was born from the ashes of Valium, a shitty band that released only a 7 inches called “Flagello”. During that time we were Crust-Core and a bit Grind oriented. Then we experienced problems so Tetsuo and me gave birth to Grimness with that primitive-man called Anarcociano on drums. ’Til now we only shitted out the scum on our 7” called “Musical Houlocaust”, a split with Groinchurn, distribuited all around the world by me (I made a fucking mistake!). I wrote to Mark around 1 year ago, when I listened to their split 7” with Heamorrage. In that 7” it was included also a cover of the hystorical Bee-Gees hit “Staying Alive” and the other tracks were great, it’s a shame the fact that now they turned their sound in a “softer” way. Anyway Mark was a very kind person, and in a month I received the master and the 7” artwork. Regarding the Grindcore underground… What Grindcore underground? In Italy there is no Grindcore underground! And if it exists, goddamn, please someone could write me and let me know! Uhm, I guess Grimness are not really known, but I think someone will talk about us soon (I hope in a bad way!).

The 7” cover-picture is really cruel, where did you take that picture and what it means?
It’s a picture representing the band on a beach, the lying guy is our drummer after a jam-session with Seth Putnam & Frank Sinatra! Goddamn!

The monicker and the band logo could remember a classic Black Metal band, why did you choose them? Tell us the meaning the word “Grimness” represents to you.
I thought to the grimness of life when you wake up in the morning and she looks at you saying “You’ll experience other delusions”. And it’s our vision of everyday routine. Grimness is psychical, physical and verbal violence! Black Metal? No, I don’t know. And the Black Metal logos are uglier, and you can’t read a damn fuck of their band names! Anyway I like some Black Metal stuff, musically and ideologically speaking; Burzum in particular.

The 7” is out for ECATOMBE PROD., your own label. Could you tell us the forecoming releases of this label?
ECATOMBE is currently searching for bands to release split 7” or split tapes. Unfortunately the asshole-attitude of some cunts leave me without the will to do anything. ‘Til now I released only a few things : I co-produced the 7” of Ouhzaro (HC-Crust from Venice), a 4-way split tape called “Circle of Hate” (with Valium, DIA, Nuclear Grinder, Insult), the split 7” Grimness/Groinchurn and a VHS of Trauma-Team, the band of my friend Rogier, a die-hard fan of Brutal-Gore! Then I’ll release the “Worldwide Violence 7” compilation, with a lot of great bands such as Catheter and Mymindsmine!

Personally I decided to interview your band after I saw one of your live-shows, really abominable, I think the live-situation is the best for a band like yours… I think “Musical Holocaust” suffers from a very bad sound-quality… Did you ever think about recording in a better way or recording a live-show?
A better way means lots of money, and we don’t have money, Dio sporco lurido boia! (translate it in something like “dirty Goddamn”) ! We could say that we recorded in that shitty way (the production really sucks) because we were in a hurry and because we had poor equipment. Anyway this is the 7”, and it’s the only way you could listen to it!

Your lyrics are in both in italian and english. Do you think italian language fits better certain concepts? Your declarations are dedicated to Italy in particular or also the other societies in the world?
Italian or english for me it’s not a problem. Depending on the song I feel the better way to sing a lyric. If I knew Latin or Greek languages I would also write in these languages. I would like to know other languages. Unfortunately only with English you can express your ideals outside Italy. Goddamn, it’s a really artistic-castration!

I really appreciate your totally anti-human attitude. On this side you could really be compared to some true Black Metal bands… But unfortunately the supporters of these 2 styles frequently hate each other, and I find it a really stupid attitude, in particular if there are Grindcore bands like yours fighting for a common cause like the extermination of humanity…
The Black Metal listeners and followers usually are characterised by an almost-medieval ignorance and bigotry. When they look at you with scorn only because you’re watching a Black Metal show and you’re dressed in a little different way from them, I would like to put their fucking black flame in their asses!!! In recent times I watched some Black Metal concerts, but I’ve been annoyed by the close-minded attitude of some people considering themselves as gods only because they made a fart-demotape, goddamn! All this shit will always break any possible cooperation between Grindcore and Black Metal. But it’s not only a guilt of the metal-listeners! The only way out could be more information for each other, and a bit more open-minded attitude. It’s an utopia, you know! But who can tell it, maybe in the coming years we could see Marduk playing in a squat! But no, I really don’t know, because people are too stupid and ignorant! We will always pay a lot of money to see the poser-pandas and listen to bullshit for free.

Another strange fact is that politically speaking a lot of Grind bands are left-wing oriented, on the other side the 90% of the Black Metal bands are right-wing or nazi-oriented. In the sheet included in the 7” I’ve seen a drawing representing two crosses: on a cross there’s a swastika, on the other there are the hammer and sickle. What does it mean? Do you support any political ideal?
I drew that in a total-hate raptus! Left and Right? Ha ha ha, too much shit. You could figure out that if I meet a nazi I talk him about left-supporting ideologies or I joke about Hitler (great person, eh eh!), then if I’m in a communist squat I scream about anti-immigration ideologies, Italy to the Italians, I draw celtic crosses and things like these! These topics are for the human shit. I would re-open all the ovens and I would exterminate everyone in a sistematic way.

I perfectly understand the reason for your hate towards the society and the common people… In which way can you survive in this world if you don’t belong to it? In which way do you try to ignore your scorn for human beings when you’re forced to work or live together with them? One of your lyrics says: “Totale Sofferenza perpetua/Ogni giorno visioni apatiche/Ogni minuto, ora, istante/Sempre solo dispiaceri” (Translate to: “Total endless suffering/ Everyday apathic visions/ Every minute, hour, second/ Everlasting painful things/”). I find these words really depressive, did you ever suffer from depressive states of mind and total disheartenment? What do you do to fight them?
Every morning unfortunately I wake up. And then the day starts, and it will surely be a shitty day. I try to avoid every social contact or at least to limit them to “good morning” and “good evening”. When I have to speak I usually mock my interlocutor with conversations like: “Hi, how are you?” “Quite BAD, thanks.”. Depressive states? Yeah, in particular abysmal changes of mood. Fortunately for the most part of the day I’m under the effect of hard-drugs, so for a good 80% of the day I’m lost! Unfortunately it is very difficult to find the courage to shoot my head off.

Sometimes I think that our eternal battle towards humanity will be useless, because people are stupid and they don’t want to listen to our words, nothing changes in their world outlook, this is the reason why I support a mass extermination… Unfortunately people like us are only a minority in the world, so we will be ignored and suffocated by society… Did you ever seriously think to stay in the middle of a crowded place with a shotgun, starting to shoot everyone and everything?
DIO BRUTTO BESTIA BASTARDO!!! I don’t give a damn fuck if people ignore me or if they leave me alone! I’m happy for this! And I’m happy if in the morning I read of a carnage on the newspaper!!! On the 11th of September 2001 me and my few friends had a party! About the shotgun massacre, I would like to do it very often, but after the carnage I would also blow my head off.

From the things you said during your live-shows, I suppose that you also hate the shallowness of some love/sexual intercourses… Would you explain in depth your opinion? And do you think that sincere love / friendship relationships could exist? Are there some people that you wouldn’t exterminate?
I thought a lot about love. I only found a few conclusions (I will never stop to think, it would be like letting the brain die, just like the rest of humanity). I left my girlfriend one year ago, after I got aware of the poorness of our relationship. I reflected about it, I observed the behaviour of the couples of lovers I knew. I’ve seen people losing their brains just to put their cock into a woman’s cunt. I’ve seen women behave like shit just to feel a cock (or more than one) between their legs. One of the most hilarious things is to see those kind of girls (but also boys) at the concerts: they’re dressed like idiots, they never talk, and when they tell a word they talk only bullshit, maybe because they are girlfriends of a metalhead, so they try in every way to appear “cool”… I know, some people could judge me in a wrong way, but this is what I see. I could speak about it for many hours, but I don’t wanna do it, this kind of people make me sick! The only people I wouldn’t like to kill are the few ones I’m in contact with, and the open-minded ones.

I also noticed your absolute hatred towards religion and the so-called chistian “god”… Don’t you think that the most christians are the strongest representives of society’s fakeness, first of all the various Vatican people?
I can only say that maybe some kind of god (if you want to call it that way!) could exist, something abstract, bigger, I don’t know… But UNFORTUNATELY… Mankind has destroyed, invented, told a lot of stories, bullshit about the FUCKING GOD, BASTARD ALLAH, SHITTY BUDDAH, CONFUCIO AND THE ROTTING VIRGIN MARY ON THE SINAI MOUNTAIN ! Man is the cause of every problem, of every bad thing, of haemorroids, tumors, cancers, of pig God. I hope that the shitty race to which I belong will extinguish before the next weekend.

Are you favourable to nuclear energy? And to war? What do you think of the present military situation, with all that mess created byBin Laden and the Americans? Don’t you think that after all it would have been great if they exterminated each other? If it was possible, would you like to be the only man left on earth?
Nuclear energy? War? Holy words, that shit man called Bin Laden is only a shit Arabian in dialysis, goddamn! He built up such a mess just to throw down a couple of towers. I hoped intensely in a chain reaction and many other similar actions but no way… only some Israelites or Palestinian in a day. The only man on earth? No, I would die of excessive masturbation.

Musically speaking, what are your inspiring sources and your favorite bands? Do you listen also to other genres?
Well, I don’t know what to answer to this question, I listen to Grind, Death, Punk, Noise, Black, Doom, Sludge, Hardcore etc. etc…. In the morning I could listen indifferently to MADAM BUTTERFLY or to ASSÜCK! I want to listen to everything. If you record a tape with your farts, send it to me.

Future plans and next live-shows? Your final words before invoking the final human holocaust…
For the near future no live shows are planned because our drummer is very busy. Anyay after the summer I hope to release another 7”, maybe a split with Amanda Lear and Fausto Leali. Write me if you need to insult me, lick my cunt or piss in my mother’s mouth! Ok? I wish you all a malignant tumor or cancer, hope you will die before to meet me.
