e partenza per Dali. si visita il lago Er hai, settimo
della Cina per dimensioni, si prosegue con la
visita allo splendido Villaggio Xizhou, 18 km. a nord
di Dali, con
l’originale architettura dell’etnia Bai. Poi
si visita il parco di Tre
Pagode, su
una collina a nord-ovest della città, sono tra le strutture
più antiche della Cina sud-occidentale. La più alta ha 16
piani e raggiunge i 70 m. di altezza e risale al IX secolo.
Accanto sorgono le altre due pagode di 10 piani, alte 42
m..Si rientra quindi a Dali, dove si visita la Città
Vecchia Sistamziaone in Hotel.

Dali-Baoshan - Dopo la colazione partenza per Baoshan ,
situata nella parte ovest dell provincia con una clima
tripicale e subtropicale. Baoshan, avendo una
lunga storia era una citta importantissima sulla via della
seta meridionale. Si visita il famoso tempio Wofou e Li hua

Baoshan- Tengchong Dopo la prima colazione
due ore di trekking sulla vecchia via della seta .
Dopo il pranzo partenza per Tengchong con bus, ultima
fermata in Cina sulla vecchia strada Yungchang verso Birmania

Dopo la prima colazione , si visita per tutta la
giornata in Tengchong: sorgenti termali, piu di 80
sorgenti in 20 km dalla Citta di ciui la
temperatura arriva 90 C, visita dei gruppi di volcano.

Tengchong - Mangshi Dopo la prima
colazione, partenza per Mangshi con bus, Mangshi
e' la capitale della zona autonoma dei Dai e Jingpo, un
luogo famoso per il misterioso tempio di Buddhismo e le
pagoda d'oro. Essa e' una bellissima citta alla
confine Cina-Birmania. Si visita: la Pagoda
dell'albero, Tempio Yunyan, costruito in 1947 per
dominare il diavolo dell'acqua , della guerra e della
maladia. The gruppo di pagoda di cui la piu alta e' di
20 metri a forma di corno, jardino della citta

Mangshi - Ruili Dopo la prima colazione, partenza
per Ruili, Capital locale della Zona Ruili.
La citta con il sopranome " citta di nebbia"
si trova in riva est del Fiume Ruili.
All'Inverno la citta si sveglia in nebbia. nel
pomeriggio quando il sole ha bruciato la nebbia, si
vedi delle donne dei Dai con loro gioielli d'argento e
costumi tradizionali. Visite: le foreste

hotel partenza per Lijaing con bus , lungo la strada
visita il villaggio Xinhua e il loro fabricazione
artigianali . All'arrivo in Lijiang viste: Hei
Long tan (Parco
del Lago del Dragone Nero), situato al margine
settentrionale della città, da dove si può ammirare il
panorama della Montagna di neve del Drago di Giada e la
Città vecchia Dayan (Lijiang in lingua Naxi,
, insieme a tutta la contea, nell’elenco dei luoghi
dichiarati Patrimonio dell’Umanità dall’Unesco),
attraversata in lungo e in largo da canali, da ponti e da un
dedalo di anguste vie lastricate di granito, un vero
gioiello. E’ il centro principale dell’etnia Naxi,

LIJIANG - Dopo la colazione si parte per l’escursione al monte
Yu long (o Monte nevoso del Drago di Giada) – 34 km. a
nord di Lijang -
alto 5596 metri – e quindi per Bai shui he, lo
spettacolare fiume formato dalla neve sciolta del monte Yu
long. Si prosegue quindi per il piccolo villaggio di Baisha
(famoso per una raccolta di affreschi religiosi). Si
conclude la giornata con la visita del Monastero Tibetano
Yufeng (conosciuto anche perch” vi cresce una camelia,
vecchia di 500 anni, che in primavera si copre di fiori).

Zhongdian con bus sulla Strada Yunnan/Tibet.
Fermata al villaggio del tamburo di pietra, la prima
couvatura del Fiume Yangtse. e la colla di salta di

Breakfast at the hotel. A full day at the Stone
Forest, one of China's most remarkable natural phenomena is
located 98 kms southwest of Kunming. It consists of 80
hectares of innumerable bizarre-shaped ancient limestone
cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270
million years ago. The Stone Forest area is the home of the
Sani minority, a branch of the Yi tribe (reputed for their
diligence, valour, wisdom, exquisite embroidery and
melodious songs and graceful dances) who also offer cultural
performances nightly. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant.

UNESCO World Heritage Site

airport for 35 minutes morning flight to Lijiang On arrival,
take an excursion to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with a
chairlift ride to discover the much famed thirteen peaks.

restaurant In the afternoon, after a walk to the Black
Dragon Pond to have a look at the renowned Moon Embracing
Pavilion, you will have free time on your own for
sightseeing of the Old Town of Lijiang. Lijiang is the
center of the Naxi people, a relatively small minority group
with a rich culture. Old
Lijiang is an intimate mountain town of stone and tile,
built around canals and which has been recently put on the
list of the world monument protected by UNESCO. Dinner at

at the hotel Early morning drive to the Tiger Leaping Gorge,
which is one of the deepest canyons of the world. Wedged
tightly between titanic cliffs, the Yangzi river is so
narrow here, so legend tells us, that a hunted tiger made
his escape to the other side of the river in a single bound.
Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon, stop at the
village of the Stone Drum where you will have a look at the
first great bend of the Yangtzi River. The
approach of Stone Drum offers a dramatic view of the
Yangtsi's near 180 degree turn where the water performs a
grandiose about face. For nearly 20 km the river, first
flowing south, then north, runs parallel to itself. Locals
say if it were not for their village standing guard at the
bend, China would lose the water of the Yangtzi to southeast
China, like that of the not too far away Mekong and Salween

05 Kunming Breakfast
at the hotel then fly to Kunming. In the morning, drive to
the Western Hills followed by a 20 minute chairlift ride up
the hill. From the top a path winds down the famous "

to the Victoria Sapa Hotel in Sapa (45 minutes/38 km).

Exquisitely
hewn into the
mountainsides, the farm plots look like an unending flight
of stairs, now hugging the waist of mountain, now ascending.
The nearer to the town of Yunanyang, the more picturesque
the terrain fields become. From the lay of the terrain, one
can tell how steep the original mountains were, what
Herculean efforts the local people must have made in
combating nature.
Each group of terraced fields looks
unique in its own way. At a cross-road in Shengcun Village,
there is a long string of exquisite terraced fields. The
fields at Jinzhuzhai in Tuanjie Township are fringed with
distinctive lines, forming a well-conceived pattern. Those
in search of all-encapsulating, imposing views of terraced
fields should go to Bada Village or Malizhai in Shengcun
Township, where the terraced fields lie cheek by jowl in an
spellbinding fashion. After
25 centuries of hard work, the local Hani people have turned
their homeland into one of the world's most enchanting
places. The terraced fields are not only a crystallisation
of man's mettle against the adversities of nature, but also
a sample of the ideal environment where man live in harmony
