This volume contains the observing book of the author for the visual variable star observations using binoculars.

Most of the bright variable stars are collected together and the observer should be able to make his observations in the suggested order.

In this book do not appear charts of long period variable stars such as Mira, it is more useful to make a separate book upgraded using the valuable yearly AAVSO Bulletin.

Most of the eclipsing binary and RR Lyrae variable star charts will appear in a separate observing book.

Charts are mostly AAVSO Charts; AAVSO Atlas, Hipparcos and Thyco catalogues have been used when AAVSO sequence was unavailable.
