Traces of the past and the enchanting position of a small fiord created by the estuary of river Pantakias, transformed in a safe landing-place for small fishing boats, has changed its aspect leading it to become a renowed place for vacation.
The presence of a big touristic complex, with accomodation for over 1200 persons, on the left side of the port-channel, as the estuary of the river is called today, for the last 30 years it has been a great place for many Italians and foreign tourists.
