'Eternity is a terrible thought. I mean,
where is it going to end ?' (Tom Stoppard)
Good question. But who has the answer ? I mean, there is an eternity
of answers. But before start talking about this a new question rises :
why are you thinking about eternity ? Because you don't have nothing else
to do or simply because eternity is one of the Big Questions ? Who knows
! I would like only to say that, I think, everybody did the same question
to himself at least one time. I don't know if somebody discovered the
true answer or if all the answers are true but I am sure that we don't
have the words to explain this concept. Talking about eternity I disagree
with the concept of terrible thought because I think that seems terrible
only because we don't have the power to understand it. In my opinion eternity
represents an indefinite extension of the lot. Indefinite in the space,
in the time and in the thoughts so when we try to think to it we aren't
able because our mind is not endless and so can't contain an idea that
is infinite. Therefore I don't think that the eternity has the determination
of terrible thought, terrible is the attempt to find a solution even if
there isn't one. I can assign to the eternity a physical, an imaginary
or a divine meaning and all these meanings are the right ones. For me
eternity will end when everybody will stop to think about it. No eternity
will exist without thoughts because all the Big Question will fall leaving
a hole in the minds: time will never elapse. But there are too questions
for so few answers that reasonably compel us not to think about this.
