[GPS] Garmin 2610 and ground loop isolator {139642}
A few things for those who may be installing new GPS. Before beginning, I rounded up the necessary connectors and mounts and such. I bought the motorcycle mount kit, with cradle and wire harness. It has an inline fuse connector,
Re: [GPS] Garmin 2610 and ground loop isolator {139689}
Yes the GPS cradle, but that shouldn't be a big deal. Unless the GLI box is, and I don;t think it is attached to the stingray itself, but rather the support that hold the stingray. I didn't see a good place to splice the brown ground
Re: [GPS] GPS bike and car {140036}
The bike mount is semi permanent, but the car bean bag thing and cord are easily switched from car to car. Mounted on the stingray, I hope the gps is mostly in a dry location. Or at least less wet than out in the open. Randy

I don;t even know what an RT looks like, so I can't be of much help on that one. That's kinda embarrassing to admit.That's one of them fancy go-fast bikes, ain't it??? Randy
Re: [GPS] Garmin 2620 problem {143412}
Interesting I got a NOH 2610 and notice a "flicker" in teh screen, usually on the two startup screens and then only rarely. Thought maybe it was just as it warmed up. I'll definitely keep an eye on that. Missed that issue somewhere,
Re: [GPS] Satilite reception {147955}
I searched on ebay and got this: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll? from=R40&satitle=garmin+2610+antenna Several on there for less than $20. I lost recetion for the first time this weekend in between a bunch of buildings.
Re: [GPS] What all do I need to hook up 2610 on 03 ltc w/autocomm
Okay guys I have the 2610 now and went driving around last night with it. looks like it will be great when I get hte bike wired up. Going to rat shack tonite for audio cable. Ideally, I need a mono mini (2.5mm) on one end split to a
Re: [GPS] Garmin 2610 and factory mount {140038}
Not sure if I can be much help, but I just installed a 2610 onto my 03 with an autocom pro m1. THe 2610 motorcycle wiring harness has a 2.5 mm mono audio out on it, that plugs to the com or an earpiece. Not sure about the Nav II setup
Re: [GPS] NAV III equivalent {141342}
I just got a 2610 from ebay and the motorcycle mounting kit, whcih comes with power cable and cradle (same for the 27xx and 28xx, I think) from an Ebay Express store. The mount kit was $40, which was $10 cheaper than Garmin MSRP.
