The Hartebeest shooted for food, has gone down with one shot in the shoulder.

The rifle is a Winchester cal. 375 H&H Magnum with 24 inches barrell. The reload is a 300 grains Nosler Partition, speed is 2550 fps.

Hartebeest or Kongoni
Coke's hartebeest is the most widespread on the open grassy plains and tree grasslands in southern Kenya and Tanzania.

It stands about 122 cm (48 in) at the shoulder and weighs between 75-160 kg (165-350 lb), with the males being somewhat larger than the females.

Both male and female hartebeests have horns. These short and relatively thick horns are closely together at the base and bracket-shaped, with the tips pointing backwards.
