The solo is pretty much okay, but after the -12-10----------- --0--0--12--10--- ---------0---0--- part, at the beginning, you should play the high 'e' string for the entire next part. -0--0---0--0--0--0--0--0--- 10--10--8--8--7--7--5--5--- --------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- etc...... hope this helps... These are just a few things I changed when I play the tab for "Sunday Bloody Sunday", by U2. First, during the power chords riff, the chords should be: Bm D G 7 5 x 7 7 12 7 7 12 9 7 12 9 5 10 x x x *note: THE ONLY DIFFERENCE HERE IS THE D CHORD Also, I have a tab for the harmonics part: e--------------8------14---------- b------8---8---------------15----- Repeat this same formation g---7----------------------------- The rest of the tab for the song is on. Don't forget to tune down the guitar a half step for the song. "Sunday Bloody Sunday" Live version from Popmart The Popmart version of Sunday Bloody Sunday is no different than any other version of Sunday Bloody Sunday in terms of the way you play it. It is different in terms of the actual chords though. Anyway, here's how you play it: STICK A CAPO ON THE FIFTH FRET, AND MAKE SURE YOUR GUITAR IS TUNED DOWN A HALF STEP. (If you are not tuned down, then put the capo on the 4th). All chords and tab are with respect to the capo. Use some delay, set to about 0.4 seconds. OPENING/VERSE e-----2-------2-------0-------0---- b---3---3---3---3---3---3---3---3-- Repeat this throughout. g-4-------2-------0-------0-------- For the first bridge - "How long, how long must we..." Play the following chords, as in the old version, and play them apperegio (picking one at a time); I am not sure of the exact tab for this part, but the chords are: D Em How long, how long must we sing this song D G How long, how long........ When you get to the "...tonight, we can be as one..." return to the opening/verse tab. Now, the first time "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is sang in the chorus, Egde play some sort of muted harmonics, similar to the old version again, and the tab, with respect to the capo is: e----------8------14---- b----8---8-----------15- This may not be right, but it's close. g--7-------------------- Then, again, return to the opening/verse tab. When the verse hits the bridge again, "How Long,..." Strum the D, Em, D, G chords, and then play the following chords for the "Tonight..." part: CHORDS: (I watched Edge play it this way) Bm x24432 D x5777x G 355433 Bm D G Tonight...we can be as one Bm D G Bm D G Bm D G Tonight.......tonight, tonight, tonight tonight Then, for the rest of the song, return to the opening/verse tab and bridge tab.
