[find it! 2005 girolamo dorigo colli orientali del friuli traminer tasted by balassis. opened and poured immediately to the glasses. bright yellow color. lovely and clear aromas of citrus, lemon and tropical fruits. very good acidity to the palate but a little bit dry aftertaste. it is not a typical 2004 Giordano Sirch Colli Orientali del Friuli Tasted by thebonnydooner. Plenty fine for $13, but not extraordinary. For a tokai it is really nicely balanced, lots of juicy acidity, not overly sweet. It is nicely crisp, mainly apple fruit, but sort of an asian pear flavour on the 2003 miani sauvignon blanc colli orientali del friuli tasted by tannat. perfumed sweet nose of pear, melon, gooseberry, and elder. quite much body with an alert acidity. fat mouth feel and some bitterness in the aftertaste.
