Raggiunta la fama, Mark Knopfler si toglie la soddisfazione di
lavorare con uno dei suoi miti: l'ex chitarrista degli Everly Brothers,
Chet Atkins. I due si divertono a giocare con il jazz, il country ed il folk senza mai strizzare l'occhio ad intenti commerciali. Ne esce un'opera dal carattere divertente e spensierato. Era quello che volevano. Ma non sapevano che sarebbe diventato un album di culto per tutti i chitarristi finger picking. |
