May 8, 2007 - I don't know....I never thought rythmic could be so technique orientd but it seems to me that she hits her positions and...well I am not impressed as far as strict artistry...YES she is VERY flexible but......I don't know the routine seems just....rushed and...well I don't know I wasn't blwon away (byy the technique YES but artistry?)

May 8, 2007 - I think that she's in a perfect balance. For her age, I think she is very expressive. When she is a senior, I think her technique will rely less on flexibility. Also, I think her lines are unique - the elegance she displays through them can't be matched by the one of any other junior, IMO.

May 9, 2007 - Yeah, the flex looks effortless rather than pushed into the routine for the sheer sake of it. However her ring position looks pretty unaesthetic to me, becauseshe is still too thin and it all looks so exagerated. As for artistry i think her hoop is very good, other apparatus,it still has to grow in on me. I'm afraid ribbon has stayed her weakest event, as goes for pivots, she has improved her releve from last year, but it is still not enough and it looks messy.

KajaRG Says:

May 9, 2007 - To me, she's a mini Chaschina. She has the same subtle charisma, the same effortless elegance, the same powerful leaps, the same super-muscular yet very slender body, the same perfect technique. And remember, Chaschina also used to be critiziced for not being expressive even in her first years as a senior, but she developed expressivity as she matured. I think the same will go for Sasha.

May 11, 2007 - Well, her coach is Shtelbaums, the same as Irina's...the same thing can be said about Evgenia Kanaeva. These girls are too young to be expressive, for now they have to work on their elements to be "perfect", so later they can work with their emotions and worry about making a mistake.

Jul 15, 2007 - patterns,patterns,patterns they suck

KajaRG Says:

Nov 9, 2007 - Sasha is not coached by Shtelbaums. She is coached by Karpushenko.

eulucil Says:

Dec 15, 2007 - She isn't as fluid as Tchachina, and she doesn't have the same kind of flexibility, so her moves are different (Tchachina worked with front splits). This routine is Viner's, and this girl have good conditions (like Kapranova had) but Viner doesn´t make them work with apparatus, so she will be another contortionist

KajaRG Says:

Dec 16, 2007 - Sasha isn't Viner's girl, she is coached by Elena Karpushenko in another club. Sasha actually has super apparatus technique (I've trained with her), except for ribbon which is very poor (but improving). And believe me, her front splits are enormously flexible, search Ermakova Kanaeva gala.

eulucil Says:

Dec 17, 2007 - I don't know... maybe it's due to the current style of rhythmic... maybe this girl could perform beautiful elements (like the front split pivot with the trunk at the horizontal, or attitude pivots), but gymnasts have to bend her back in every element if they want a good DV... I'm tired of watching always the same elements, and most of russian juniors repeat and repeat them...

Piukkulintu Says:

Feb 6, 2008 - Wow I love the ribbon's colour!
