Mar 2, 2007 - Swan lake dazzles better in Sasha's performance than in gymnastic. It does not show any element. You should compare the elegance in figure skating vs the one in gymnastic. for example Anna does NOT shine over Sasha's abilty to dazzle.

Mar 3, 2007 - Actually this part of the montage was difficult to do because Bessonova's program was nearly perfect (she was world champion at hoop with this routine!) but to appreciate it you have to know a little this sport and to see the entire routine (like most of her routines)... So it was quite difficult for me! lol But I can tell you that Bessonova dazzles in actual RG (I don't talk about 90s RG) as much as Sasha Cohen in figure skating, we even can compare them on some points...

Jan 28, 2008 - RHythmics Gymnastics and figure skating both borrow from ballet, so Swan Lake and the Nutcracker are among favorites. Some Cheorgraphers such as Joanna Mendl Shaw will do Cheorography for dancers, Ice dancers, Skaters, In-lineskaters, Gymnasts, and even Equestians (ballet on horses anyone). Sometimes you will even notice the same movements being used.

Jan 28, 2008 - Why not a comparison with Oksana Baiul's 1994 Olympic Long Program which was fantastic artistically and borrowed heavily from ballet. Most Gymnasts and Figure Skaters also study ballet.
