Celebrating the 10th anniversary since its founding (1998) with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos, the Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of PIttsburgh gave a concert in support of a lecture by Rev. Fr. Stelyios Muksuris entitled "The Transformative Power of the Desert: A Liturgical-Musicological Approach to Orthodox Christian Asceticism" With us, we were blessed to have the unparalleled and talented George Hatzichronoglou (Archon Hymnodist of the Great Church of Christ, Athens Greece) and Constantin Lagouros (Archon Protopsaltis of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada).
