Mar 29, 2008 - I agree... pirouette-dominant doesn't mean it's the only available element. Kabaeva (gold 2004) only had 4 pirouttes in her routine (different occasions/types not number per spin) and Barsukova (gold 2000) had the same, emilie livingston (another canadian, competed in 2000) had 6... alexandra had twice that at 12 ... you only have 1 and a half minutes to do your routine, so make it interesting, it feels like she's killing time. regardless, I'm canadian so I'm glad we have a gymnast for 2008
