Some tourists decide to visit the city of Pisa using their own cars or vehicles. In this case you should park before going sight-seeing within the city. You have the following possibilities:

payment parking areas on the streets:

Along the cities main streets there are blue lines indicating payment parking areas. After you have parked your care you must buy a ticket from the ticket machine installed along the street then place the ticket on the dash-board in a visible spot from the outside. Important: without a ticket or if expired, you may receive a fine.

parking inside private areas with custodian:

in the center of the city there are some private parking areas with custodian on Via C.Cammeo and on Via C.Battisti. Those areas have an opening and closing time, so have care to get information about it and the price per hour of parking. The cost of the parking will be calculated on the duration, and the payment must be made  to the custodian at the end of it.

free parking on public areas without custodian:

inside the city there are free parking public areas, located exactly on Via del Brennero and Via di Pratale. Those areas are free and open and are also well server by the city buses. You can buy the bus ticket from the driver or from the ticket machine in the parking. Important: those areas are not available on Wednesdays and Saturdays morning 8:00 - 14:00 because of the city market on it.

parking available for Camper and Bus:

if you need to park your camper or your bus you can find available the free parking areas on Via del Brennero and on Via di Pratale or the payment parking area on Via Pietrasantina.
