Front Panel (from left to right): Power switch – 35.5, 63, 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000 Hz left controls – Spectrum analyzer display - 35.5, 63, 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000 Hz right controls - Input Att. Switch – Eq. Rec. Off/On – Tape mon. Off/On – Display switches: both out (for mic) , Left channel , Right channel , L+R. Display Decay time (Fast/Slow) – Pink Noise Off/On - Display level – Mic input

Rear Panel (from left to right) : Line in/out – Tape in/out – Power input.

Note: Marantz manufactured the EQ551 and the EQ515. These models are exactly the same (20 band stereo graphic equalizer plus spectrum analyzer) except the EQ515 has gold/silver feet.

The included condensor microphone, using the pink noise option, allows the spectrum analysis and compensation of the sound field of the room.
