Nokia 9300i/9500 firmware update
Of course, the update is NOT available online. In order to refresh their devices, Nokia 9300/9300i/9500 smartphone owners must visit an official Nokia service center. The new firmware (v6.27) update includes:

I checked with a Nokia shop last week and the latest 9500 firmware is still 5.22. Yet the 9300i has a later version that should in theory be compatible. Is Nokia planning to make later versions available to 9300/9500 owners - the only

I got my Nokia 9500 Communicator about two weeks ago. It's excellent. It's mind-blowing. It's now broken. Seems like either firmware or some graphics chip is borked. I have to send it back to Nokia. I wonder how much that will cost.

Bit less easy than I would have liked as I have 4.44 firmware on my Nokia 9500, so syncml (apparently) does not work syncing to iSync 2.3. So a small investment later I had the appropriate plugin for isync.
