May I ask where you buy these adapter cards please and has anybody done any I bought this Dell 5700 ExpressCard to use in my M1710 and my 17" Powerbook G4 1.67 (DL) with the adapter and so far it appears it won't work in either!

BUT if Device Manager lists your PCMCIA controller as 'CardBus' or 'Ricoh CardBus' then the adapter is not compatible with your notebook (nor is a PCI to PC Card adapter lacking Smart CardBus support, presumedly).
